The only applications I am interested in are Paint Shop Pro 7 and
Pagemaker 6 or 7.  I don't/won't use anything from M$.  And, I don't
really care about printing anything from Paint Shop Pro, but I do need
to print documents with Pagemaker that containe graphic elements.

I totally agree with you that if there is a native Linux program that
can
do whatever needs to be done, I would prefer to use that.  But Linux
has
nothing (that I am aware of) comparable to Pagemaker for desktop
publishing.
Open Office and Scribus are good programs, but not nearly as versatile,

comprehensive, and easy-to-use as Pagemaker.
