Directories starting with . are hidden by default, so are you absolutely
sure you don't have it?
If you don't have a .wine directory then you shouldn't have wine or you
really should know where you have installed it. Could you try this
command from commandline:
ls -l ~/.wine
(It shouls list the files in /home/username/.wine directory)
If you really don't have .wine in your home directory, it should respond
like this:
ls: /home/username/.wine: No such file or directory
If you do have that directory, you should get a list of files in that
directory.
