So I am wondering, if it is just a transition of wine's development, or there is some functionalities been used recently is not supported by my graphical card's driver ?
There was a major rewrite in ddraw recently to make it use wined3d (and enable rendering with opengl and other backends besides gdi). As I understand it, the gdi renderer is supposed to be identical to the way it used to work, opengl is incomplete, and others do not exist yet. It's possible that some programs are using the opengl renderer when gdi would work better. You can force it to use one or the other by setting HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Wine\Direct3D\DirectDrawRenderer to "gdi" or "opengl" in regedit. -- Vincent Povirk _______________________________________________ wine-users mailing list wine-users@xxxxxxxxxx http://www.winehq.org/mailman/listinfo/wine-users
