office xp on fedora 4

Hi everyone,

I just installed fedora 4 and the latest rpm of wine; wine-0.9.2-1fc4winehq.i386.rpm

After it installs I go to /root/ and execute wine which creates the .wine directory and its’ sub dirs. and files. I then try to install office xp with wine /media/cdrom/setup.exe. The installer comes up and I proceed with the default install directory c:\program files\microsoft office\ it attempts to install but then it just fails, with the “send error report to MS” message.  In the background I can see a bunch of err:msi:deformat_file Unable to get ShortPath size (L”c:\\Program Files\\Microsoft Office\\Office10\\VS Runtime\\1022 *.dll errors

I did a lot of googling but nothing hit it on the head. I think my setup is pretty common. What can I be doing wrong?

Thanks,

John S.
