Well, that looks good, especially if you made sure wineserver wasn't
running first.
(Funny, though, I had to copy msvc40.dll, not mfc40.dll.)

I don't seem to get the same hang.

If you could get a wine expert to pay some attention to this problem,
I'm sure it'd be solvable.  Wish I could help more, but I'm booked solid!
You should consider filing a bug report at http://bugs.winehq.org
summarizing what you've posted in this thread.
