Hi,
Ok, after a few tweaks (xlib include files), I've managed to build latest
wine without any issues. nslookup still doesn't pick up DNS name server.
Wine now reports version as: "Wine 20050930" (it's build form cvs tree).

Here, cmd window form nslookup was already opened, with that same message:
*** Default servers are not available
Default Server: UnKnown
Address: 127.0.0.1
winehq.org
Server: UnKnown
Address: 127.0.0.1
*** UnKnown can't find winehq.org: No response from server.
I understand that resolving shouldn't be a problem. I just don't know how
to fix this...
Any ideas?
Thanks for all help.

/etc/resolv.conf is fine and networking works fine under linux desktop
box
(IPs are assigned to the host via DHCP).
Any ideas what can I do to fix this issue on my box? I've seen this bug
report: http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1360 and it says it's
fixed.
It's debian testing box, wine --version returns: Wine 20050628.
There have been quite a few changes since June; you might want to
try building a fresh copy of Wine from CVS. I have instructions
on how at http://kegel.com/wine/qa
You might also post the log that Wine writes to stdout so we can see if
it's complaining about anything.
Finally, do applications like FTP work? I just downloaded and installed
Bulletproof FTP on Wine, and it was able to look up hostnames just fine.
(I would try dnslookup but I don't have a copy handy.)
