Yes it's absolutely related to the GLX messages :)

I had this exact error until yesterday. I solved it by taking the time to 
correctly install the nvidia non-free drivers on my system (enable Load 
"glx", disable Load "GLcore" and "Load "dri" in your XF86Config, and change 
driver "nv" to driver "nvidia")..

once you're able to get information from 'glxinfo' and see the pretty cogs 
with 'glxgears' then wine will run fine :)
