Is this because drawingboard First notice, that sometimes programs in wine seem to hang. Give them five minutes before you give it up! For your program you should cage it into a window by adding an appropriate section to your config: [AppDefaults\\drawboard.exe\\x11drv] "Desktop" = "800x600" "Managed" = "N" You have to replace drawboard.exe to the right name of your program. You can try with "Managed" = "Y" also. Then start your application and look whether it is usable now. Waht do you get on the console you started the program from?
