OK, back from the installation front.

I created a new acount on my machine. From that new account I
attempted to install Quicken 2001 Deluxe. The installation appears to
happen but at the end the big, blue installation window doesn't go
away and I'm left with the following:

bash-2.05b$ cd /mnt/cdrom/
bash-2.05b$ ls
aol dao disk13 disk18 disk4 disk9 mmc tools

bash-2.05b$ wine install.exe

At this point Quicken is up and running but I cannot get into the
Online Center. It asks me if I want to use it and register the
software. I say 'continue' but it jsut disappears. Probably I need IE
installed in this account?

So, bummer, but I cannot get to that page yet...
