I cannot run it again right now, but from a user's perspective the program (GigaSampler) first creates it's own directory under Program Files, which happens correctly. It installs a number of files in its GSampler directory, which happens correctly as far as I can tell. At this point I *think* that it wants to create a subdirectory under GSampler, and that's what fails. Happens every time I try to do the install. Happens with old versions of Wine as well as new versions. I'll try the back trace idea when I can do this again later today. Right now I'm tracing down what day updates were done to Wine that broke jack_fst. Works on wine-20040505 but fails on wine-20040615. Assuming I'm doing the CVS checkout stuff correctly (See other thread) I've found that it still would have worked on 0515, but fails on 0525. I'm building 0520 right now... thanks for all your help!
