I had a project of such a migration. Took us one week. You make install
ORA under linux, make a backup with the database manager and restore it
on the linux machine. Yes, you have to fiddle around a little bit, but
with one month you have plenty of time.

Hmmm, I'm not sure if I understand what you are doing. What actually
runs under wine and what should run under wine? Did you manage to run
Oracle under wine? Or is just your application running with wine? Or
both? Perhaps it's a good idea if you describe your project and problem
a little bit closer, also telling us, what version of wine, kernel,
linux distribution you are using.

The SUN JRE 1.4.1 is known to work somehow with wine. By the way, as
it's Java you should be able to execute the programs with native linux
jre.
