What I listed above were some of the options I tried out of desperation more than anything else. Ideally it should work fine with all builtin DLLs & native stdole32.tlb. Isn't that so ?


And some registry entries I would expect. Installing dcom95/98 is the
usual recommendation. Not without its own problems apparently.


dcom98 install fails on a clean build. Its says a newer version is already installed.


I will probably have to start another thread for this, but are there any special settings to be made in order to use wine with an existing win XP installation ?
