someone was thinking about working on this soon?
Yes, if we were going to be pedantic, it doesn't quite fit the rules for posting. But it is a tiny transgression, so I wouldn't worry too much. I don't know whether it will do any good. If someone actually has plans already for implementing it, they likely will respond.
