Thanks, that did not resolve it; same error. The md5sum of winedefault.reg is:
1e91d73cb1530f2bdf83275226cd6cc4 winedefault.reg
Is this correct for the Feb release??

$INSTALLDIR/bin/regedit winedefault.reg
Where INSTALLDIR is where wine was installed to (/usr/lib/wine on my system).
