You should have the wine documentation somewhere in /usr/share/doc/ You can also install the registry by using winesetuptk, you can download it from http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=6241

I have found that when I use winesetuptk that wine will sometimes bug me that winedefault.reg has not been applied. Has anyone else noticed this or am I doing something wrong?
