I just happened to notice that an app wasn't able to query for IShellFolder2, and very strangely it turned out the IID was declared incorrectly. I have grep'ed for the old IID, but can't find it matching anything else. I have confirmed this new value with two versions of MS headers. ChangeLog: Fix value of IID_IShellFolder2 Rob
