This may not be a wine issue.  (Note I say 'may' not 'is'.)

There has been significant correspondence on the Open Office list
recently about OOo not finding printers when running on various versions
of Windows. There is also a history of such things happening with MS
apps on Windows. Some knowledge base references have been published but
I do not have them to hand.
