hi everyone. i've just compiled and configured wine and tried to play starcraft. but when i start it nothing happens. i mean really nothing. here's the poor output of wine, hopefully it says something to you guys: fixme:console:SetConsoleCtrlHandler (0x4cf850,1) - no error checking or testing yet fixme:ddraw:Main_DirectDraw_SetCooperativeLevel (0x403b39a8)->(00020021,00000013) fixme:x11drv:X11DRV_DDHAL_CreatePalette stub fixme:dsound:IDirectSoundImpl_SetCooperativeLevel (0x403b65b0,00020021,2):stub that's it. any guesses? i've tried now with and without opengl in wine. i've even downloaded the starcraft-modification for wine. many programs do run with wine, e.g. stronghold works perfectly without any issues. and yes i've read the wine-starcraft-howto. i've even tried to install it again (even though i have it on a windows partition already) but with the same outcome. my wine version is 20020804 and i run windowmaker-0.8.1 on xfree 4.2 with DRI-r200-drivers (trunk: 20020901) for radeon 8500. kernel=2.4.18. eNTi _______________________________________________ wine-users mailing list wine-users@winehq.com http://www.winehq.com/mailman/listinfo/wine-users
