When they do that, complain.  I have to admit that's often unlikely to
help - I spent 3 years trying to get my bank to fix their web banking
system, and it was only done after they'd been bought out - but you will
never get them to change if they don't believe there's a problem, so you
have to start by complaining (politely).

My bank works fine with Konqueror, Mozilla, and all flavors of IE and
Navigator, so I'm pretty happy now :-)
