Your wine is VERY old.
you can get a newer version at http://www.winehq.com/download.shtml
you can also get the latest version of the source and documentation at
http://www.winehq.com/download.shtml

Wine-20020122.tar.gz
and one of the following should do
wine-doc-html.tar.gz
wine-doc-txt.tar.gz
wine-doc.pdf.gz
wine-doc.ps.gz

I recomend downloading the documentation and installing from source. Its 
really not too bad even for a newbie. Sometimes its best to go to the 
source.
