Description of the session follows. *The emission of particles and gas species into the atmosphere, whether of natural (e.g., volcanic eruptions, forest fires) or human (e.g., industries, transport) origin are responsible for a wide range of impacts on humanâ??s health (e.g., lung diseases, eyes irritation, heatstroke, etc.), the environment, air traffic, and infrastructures. Quantifying atmospheric transport and deposition is then fundamental for mitigating their environmental impact.
