Dear colleagues,

We bring to your attention the session GD2.2 *The evolution of Earthâ??s
mantle: from micro-scale melt/fluid-rock reactions to large-scale
geodynamics* at the next EGU General Assembly 2025 in Vienna, Austria (27
April â?? 2 May 2025).

Invited speaker: Sally Gibson (University of Cambridge)

The GD2.2 session aims to bring together scientists from a wide range of
disciplines to discuss the link between micro-scale observations in
mantle-derived rocks and large-scale geodynamic processes!

We particularly invite discussion about petrological/geochemical models
based on minerals, melt/rock reactions and melt/fluid inclusions in
mantle-derived rocks, and their connection to data extracted from
geophysics, thermodynamics, HP-HT experiments, and surface gaseous emissions
.
