This Lab Manager will be primarily responsible for the operations of a new JEOL IHP200F Field Emission EPMA that is part of an emerging Geosciences Petrology Advancement Laboratory. They will work with users to facilitate the long-term sustainable operation of this instrument for research, teaching and experiential learning, and training. The laboratory will analyze samples from the department, support university and external users, and facilitate curricular activity focused on electron microbeam theory and applications. The position may incorporate independent and collaborative research depending on the applicantâ??s interests. This is a full time, 12-month appointment with a start date as early as October 2024.
