3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3 From: Frances Beckett <frances.beckett@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Dear All, A global network of nine Volcanic Ash Advisory Centres (VAACs) are responsible for monitoring and producing forecasts of volcanic ash clouds to assist the aviation community in planning their operations and minimising risk. To generate their forecasts the VAACs make use of atmospheric transport and dispersion models. The VAAC Modellers Community have recently made available a series of Tables which describe the current operational set-ups of the modelling systems used by the VAACs, these can now be accessed via Zenodo: Beckett, F. M., Bensimon, D., Crawford, A., Deslandes, M., Guidard, V., Hort, M. Modelling Workshop held in 2012 and are now part of a regular update cycle. Past tables, reflecting previous setups, can also now be found on Zenodo.
