3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3 From: KMT <jackie.kendrick@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Dear Colleagues We would like to draw your attention to the upcoming inaugural symposium of the Krafla Magma Testbed (KMT) with the theme â??Together, toward a greener and safer futureâ??. The KMT Symposium aims to gather the scientific community from the fields of geosciences and deep-drilling engineering. The meeting will be held at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich (LMU) during 10th to 12th April 2024. More information can be found at: https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://kmt.is/the-krafla-magma-testbed-symposium/__;!!IKRxdwAv5BmarQ!aU8ayHT75AMwpipVPBXn3fwa1I6IPWOJigALbWd-BnPhEk5v2THWt51NFXJtNusV54oA8VIu8YpYTkJiDMEh12ArIN2dgRGsilACb53e$ The Krafla Magma Testbed aims to establish a world-class, international, in-situ magma laboratory with access to the magma-rock-hydrothermal boundary for monitoring and experiments. We welcome all interested parties, whether you simply want to learn more about the KMT project, or if youâ??d like to get involved. Abstracts are invited on geoscientific and geoenergy engineering research on Krafla and comparable systems, including but not limited to geology, geophysics, petrology, rheology/rock physics, geochemistry, and geoengineering. Abstract submission is open, with the deadline 19th February. Registration is open until 25th March. Kindly direct any inquiries to info@xxxxxx. On behalf of the organisers, we would be delighted to see you in Munich this Spring. 3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3 ------------------------------
