Dear Colleagues,

We would like to invite you to submit a contribution to Session GM3.1 of
the next EGU General Assembly (April 14-19, 2024; Vienna, Austria)
entitled *"From
Historical images to modern high resolution topography: Methods and
applications in Geosciencesâ??*.

The goal of the session is to gather a diversified and interdisciplinary
set of presentations exploring the potential, limitations, and challenges
of topographic and orthoimage datasets for the reconstruction and
interpretation of past and present 2D and 3D changes in different
environments and processes. The session welcomes contributions from a broad
range of geoscience disciplines, such as, geomorphology, cryosphere,
*volcanology*, hydrology, bio-geosciences, and geology, addressing
methodological and applied studies.
