This position will complement existing strengths in structural geology, sedimentology and stratigraphy, igneous petrology and volcanology, tectonics, and social impacts of resource extraction. Our department consists of 14 tenure-track faculty, ~260 undergraduate majors, and ~45 graduate students (MS and PhD). Dr. Myers will be at AGU and happy to meet with prospective candidates to answer any questions about the position. Evidence of effective teaching large-lower division classes, including use of emergent learning platforms, technologies, and techniques. 2.
