1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1 From: Chiara Montagna <chiara.montagna@xxxxxxx> Dear Colleagues We are opening a two-years postdoctoral position at INGV in Pisa, working on the DYNAMO project (links at the bottom), which focuses on the explosive activity of open conduit basaltic volcanoes. The candidate will mostly work on the modeling part, specifically aimed at improving existing two-phase conduit models using OpenFOAM/MagmaFOAM. Numerical results will then be compared with experimental observations obtained at INGV Roma - where the candidate will also spend some time; and with infrasound and seismic signals recorded during specific field campaigns.
