Hi All (with apologies for cross postings)

I am looking to fill a two-year postdoctoral research fellow position
focused on identifying key parts of US and global metal supply chains that
are highly prospective for enhanced tellurium extraction. This will include
assessing the tellurium production potential of the global smelting and
refining industry associated with the Au, Pb, Zn, and Ni sectors and
generating a database of global base and precious metal deposits with
elevated Te production potential either from primary sources or from waste
streams from existing mining operations. Further research involving the
analysis of samples from highly prospective mineral deposits may also be a
part of this project.

The postdoctoral research fellow will be based at the Ralph J. Roberts
Center for Research in Economic Geology, within the Nevada Bureau of Mines
and Geology at the University of Nevada Reno, USA. The position would suit
candidates with experience in economic geology, mineral economics and/or
materials flows analysis and will be available in the very near future.
Interested candidates should contact me at sjowitt@xxxxxxx with a copy of
their CV/resume and an indication of why they would be interested in this
position. Please pass this on to candidates you think may be interested in
this postdoctoral research fellowship.
