Hi Everyone,

Iâ??m recruiting for two open graduate positions in volcanology,
aeromagnetism, and ore deposit geology at the University of Wyoming

I am looking for students who are interested in the following:

   1. *Ph.D. Student â?? Magnetic Monitoring/Imaging of Volcanoes: *This
   position is funded through a recent NSF FRES grant
   <https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://www.nsf.gov/awardsearch/showAward?AWD_ID=2317732&HistoricalAwards=false__;!!IKRxdwAv5BmarQ!agoP2CBSUDiVBudxrxpDsqN_oClGymtR9B784BcoTJElMKcKu1_3gI4PQv4-SxRF1mheQK5GikM4AmJOUMLw$>

volcanic
   complex in south-central Chile. You will be employing a novel, low-cost
   volcano monitoring/imaging technique that primarily uses aeromagnetic and
   ground-based magnetic data to detect subsurface

   Aleutians are also possible. Students with a background in geophysical
   data processing, volcanology, and/or hobby electronics are encouraged to
   apply.

   2. *M.S. or Ph.D. Student â?? Paleomagnetism of Ore Deposits: *This

   or you can come up with your own project. Students with a strong interest
   in paleomagnetism, petrology, and/or sedimentology are encouraged to apply.

If you are interested in any of these positions please send an email to
