The postdoc position will crystallise an on-going collaboration between the Njord Centre and the Department of Mathematics (Prof. Andreas Carlson, UiO). The position is funded through project "Beyond Elasticity â?? How inelastic properties of crustal rocks control the propagation of dykes and sills in volcanic plumbing systems", funded by the competitive FRIPRO programme of the Research Council of Norway. The postdoc fellow will evolve in a multidisciplinary group of early career scientists at the crossing between geology, physics and applied mathematics.
