Building a more accurate understanding of this period in Earth history relies on cooperation among many disciplines, including geochronology, field geology, tectonics, igneous petrology, mantle geodynamics, and isotope geochemistry. This session welcomes contributions related to better understanding the Archean from a variety of disciplines, aimed at creating a more coherent picture based on constraints from both theoretical investigations of early Earth processes and empirical studies of the early geologic record."
