Dear colleagues,

Please consider submitting to AGU 2022 Fall Meeting session V006: Explosive
eruption processes and their deposits (confex.com)
<https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://agu.confex.com/agu/fm22/prelim.cgi/Session/162727__;!!IKRxdwAv5BmarQ!b8jezJ8le-JGB2i4beomde-hWXkyTBlbZc8gtLIC8XqeWChAQjBlcs1ENPqOIhhig6vNOGpSpZ0jeh06CzvU$>

Explosive volcanic eruptions manifest a variety of behaviors over a range
of length- and timescales, from discrete Strombolian explosions to
sustained Plinian columns injecting ash, gas, and aerosols into the
stratosphere to pyroclastic density currents depositing ash for tens of
kilometers while generating co-ignimbrite ash plumes. These eruptions can
also pose substantial hazards to proximal and distal life and property. Our
understanding of explosive eruption processes is driven by direct
observations of active eruptions, study of their deposits, analysis of
pyroclasts, and analog and numerical experiments. This session welcomes
contributions that broaden our understanding of explosive eruptions, the
deposits they leave behind, and the parameters that control eruption style.

Abstract submission deadline is 3 August (23:59 EDT/03:59 +1 GMT)

Instructions on how to submit an abstract are given at Abstract Submission
