We launched the series in June 2020, and have had an incredibly positive response from the palaeo community, with over 1800 sign-ups to our mailing list from researchers at all career stages worldwide. We are also now financially supported by The Royal Society of Chemistry, The Geochemistry Group, The Geological Society of London, The Cushman Foundation for Foraminiferal Research, The Paleontological Society and The Quaternary Research Association. While Pal(a)eoPERCS speakers will be Early Career Researchers, the seminars are for folks at every career stage. PERCS take place on Zoom, and consist of a live streamed short (~30 min) seminar followed by a Q&A session and an opportunity for small group discussion and networking with other attendees. Recordings of most PERCS will be available to participants unable to attend live seminars. Seminars are (mostly) weekly on Tuesdays at 1500 UTC but this may change (please check our website) . PERCS are intended as a venue to share research, strengthen our global community, and facilitate collaboration. All researchers and palaeo-fans (regardless of career stage and discipline) are enthusiastically welcome. We strive towards diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility with a diverse lineup of speakers from around the world, and a strong commitment towards fostering an inclusive environment.
