We welcome contributions dealing with the techniques, retrieval methods, applications, and detailed analyses of large events, but also explicitly encourage studies that apply remote sensing methods to gain insights into otherwise inaccessible volcanic processes. The articles are to appear open access in Frontiers in Earth Science. Abstracts may be submitted until 28 February 2022, with full manuscripts due 7 June 2022.
