This Award, delivered every two years on occasion of Cities on Volcanoes (COV) Conferences, is designated to honor the personnel of Volcano Observatories and/or other Institutions who made remarkable contributions to volcano surveillance and eruption forecasting, hazard assessment and mitigation efforts, and/or effective crisis management. Previous Awardees were: 2018 â?? Center for Volcanology and Geologic Hazards Mitigation (CVGHM) (Pusat Vulkanologi an Mitigasi Bencana Geologi) â?? INDONESIA 2020 â?? Instituto Geofisico Escuelo Polytecnica Nacional (IGEPN) â?? ECUADOR The 2022 VSCM will be delivered during the COV-11 Conference in Crete (Heraklion, Greece) in June 2022.
