The aim of the position is to constrain mush accumulation conditions in arc systems through crystal shape constraints and mineral geochemistry. The position will initially involve 9-12 months of high-pressure experiments conducted at University of Bristol in collaboration with Dr Richard Brooker, and will then revert to Durham. The closing date for applications is 9th November 2021 and an ideal start date would be early in 2022.
