Dear all,

the volcanic eruption on La Palma is certainly one of the most
remarkable ones in recent years, for many reasons.

Along with a small group of colleagues, we witnessed the activity from
various viewpoints during 22 Sep - 5 Oct 2021, which was a time
characterized by sustained and very intense lava fountains, explosions,
lava flows, tall ash emissions and frequent changes to the main vent's
morphology.
For those interested, we have compiled a day-by-day annotated series of
image galleries as well as a few videos, focused on showing and
explaining the eruptive phenomena along with their esthetic quality:
