Dear colleague,

You're invited to contribute to the session â??Advances in modelling for
natural hazards and riskâ?? <

at the upcoming AGU Fall Meeting 2021, which will be held in mixed form (in
person in New Orleans and online everywhere) from Dec 13 to Dec 17, 2021.
The session theme covers both practical and theoretical advances in the
modelling and assessment of natural hazards and their associated risks.
Numerical models, physical-mathematical formulations, validation studies
are examples of in-topic research, together with practical aspects such as
data assimilation, source characterization, case studies, and other
experimental work.

Invited speakers: Prof. Giuseppe Buscarnera (McCormick School of
Engineering, Northwestern University) and Dr. Zhenxi Zhao (Shanghai Jiao
Tong University)

The abstract submission deadline is Wednesday, 4 August, 23:59 EDT/03:59 +1

We are looking forward to meeting you in New Orleans, in presence or
virtually.

Best regards,
