Dear Colleagues,

We invite you to submit Volcano Geodesy abstracts for AGU Fall Meeting 2021
here:

*G005 - Global Applications of Geodesy to Volcanic Systems*
Geodesy is a critical component of understanding complex volcanic systems.
The quality and quantity of geodetic data, tools, sensors, and
methodologies, have been growing exponentially in recent decades. Geodetic
monitoring data are now available for hundreds of volcanoes worldwide at
multiple spatial and temporal scales, enabling higher resolution modeling
of subsurface structure and plumbing systems. Seafloor geodesy has also
opened new perspectives for a much larger number of volcanoes that lie
below sea level or the submerged portion of island or coastal volcanoes.
More complex, rapid and realistic models are possible because of the joint
progress made in data and computational techniques that allow researchers
to infer active magmatic and tectonic structures at volcanoes. Here we
invite presentations on broad applications of geodesy to global volcanoes,
but also studies of individual volcanic systems that improve techniques,
apply multidisciplinary approaches, or have impacts on volcanic forecasting.

We hope to see you in December!
