Understanding the relationships between timing, volumes and distributions.* https://community.geosociety.org/gsa2020/program/technical/topical *Rationale:* Magmatic activity influences the development of rifting and volcanic arcs, and their interactions occur at different temporal and spatial scales, as observed from individual volcanoes to plate boundaries, during single eruptive events or over centuries. With advanced modeling capabilities and the proliferation of available data, researchers can better capture the behavior of these dynamic systems. We are encouraging multidisciplinary studies that integrate volcanology, geochemistry, geochronology, structural geology, seismology, and/or modeling to decipher magmatic, tectonic, and faulting processes and their interactions at different temporal and spatial scales.
