*â??Giovanni at 20â?? graphic competition guidelines for nasa_giovanni
<https://twitter.com/NASA_Giovanni> Twitter profile image.*

Email submissions electronically to james.g.acker@xxxxxxxx.

The image should be rectangular format; see the Twitter profile link above
for the current image. The aspect ratio is ~3:1, width:height. The
circular image that appears on each tweet will not be replaced, just the
rectangular profile page banner.

The image should show the use of Giovanni in some Earth science-related
manner and should be somewhat self-explanatory (the current image shows a
true-color image of California wildfire smoke and a Giovanni-generated map
of aerosol optical depth data showing the smoke plume.)

These text elements must be incorporated: â??Giovanniâ??; â??20thâ?? OR
â??20th Anniversaryâ??
OR â??2000-2020â?? (superscript not required); and â??NASAâ?? (Do *NOT* use the
NASA â??meatballâ?? logo). A short legible caption of what the image depicts
can also be included.

Judging criteria will be scientific content, artistic merit, and
incorporation of the required text elements. The staff of the GES DISC
will select the image for the new banner from the submissions.

The author of the image will be eligible to receive a few items of NASA
scientific materials, including a 2020 NASA science calendar. These items
will be mailed, so a real mailing address will be necessary to receive
them. (Communication will be by email for privacy; the name will only be
revealed if the author allows it to be released.)
