Dear Colleagues,

The IAVCEI commission on volcano geodesy is pleased to announce the group's
inaugural workshop. The event will be held during the week of October 5,
2020, in Mammoth Hot Springs, Yellowstone National Park. This workshop
will encourage collaboration and communication among geodesists in a
diverse group of academic researchers, government scientists, technicians
and students. Presentations will provide a forum to review modern advances
in volcano geodesy, introduce methods and algorithms to students and early
career researchers, and discuss ways to share and apply geodetic results to
the broader volcano community.

Details for the workshop will be posted to
http://grapenthin.org/yellowstone-ws/ as they become available and will
also be announced via the volcano and iavcei-geodesy listservs. For
questions, contact Emily Montgomery-Brown (emontgomery-brown@xxxxxxxx)
or Mike Poland (mpoland@xxxxxxxx).

Hope to see you in Yellowstone this October!
