Hi all,

Apologies for multiple postings but we would like to invite you to submit
your abstract to our session at the upcoming GSA Cordilleran Section
Meeting, May 12-14, 2020 in Pasadena, California:

*T14: Magmatic rates, processes, and spatiotemporal evolution of arc
activity*

This session will explore non-steady-state magmatic arc behavior, from
variations in magma addition rates, arc migration, and regional focusing,
to the evolution of stationary and migrating intrusive complexes. We
welcome contributions examining the mechanisms driving variations in arc
activity in space and time using a range of tools, including field,
geochemical, geophysical, and numerical modeling techniques.

In an effort to enhance discussion in this session, we will run a modified
session format to allow more time for speaker-audience engagement and
general discussion. Talks will be strictly capped at 15 minutes with 5
minutes set aside for questions; if audience questions are limited,
conveners will provide questions. Depending on the themes of submitted
abstracts, we may include a few 20-minute slots in our session during which
conveners will moderate discussion between speakers and audience members.
We look forward to a lively session!

The abstract submission deadline is *February 11, 2020*. For more
