Helicopter footage, UAS video, time-lapse imaging, and ground-based sampling captured the topographic, fluid dynamic, and thermal changes within the Fissure 8 lava channel during two months of continuous effusion. The position is based in Hilo, Hawai`i, with periodic visits to Anchorage, Alaska.
