Two Research Assistant (post-graduate) positions are available at Earth Observatory of Singapore:
Research Assistant: Remotely quantifying volcanic eruption impacts and recovery. The work will include developing numerical code that can be used on Google Earth Engine to map the deposits and impacts of eruptions via satellite. There will be opportunities for fieldwork to ground-truth the remote assessments:

Research Assistant: Numerical modelling and assessment of volcanic hazards. The successful candidate will work with the Volcano Group at EOS, as well as local and regional partners, to support hazard assessment at active or high-risk volcanoes:
