Subject: 2nd Circular for the 10th biennial Japan-Kamchatka-Alaska Subduction Processes workshop, 20-26 August 2018
************************************************************************************************************
Dear colleagues,
Our second circular has just been released and we will announce opening of the website in a few days. Although the focus at our founding in 1998 was intended and continues to mend a geographic gap in scientific collaboration, all contributions on subduction-related tectonics, volcanism, and geothermal energy are most welcome.
Please come, make new friends, and establish new collaborations in this legendary land of volcanoes, earthquakes, tsunamis, and human history. If you have never been to Kamchatka, your knowledge of volcanism on Planet Earth is deficient. If you have been there, I know you want to return.
The second circular is at: http://www.kscnet.ru/ivs/conferences/jkasp_2018/2nd%20circular_JKASP_%202018_en.pdf
Kind regards,
John Eichelberger
