This is the ideal session to discuss how geophysical imaging can advance our understanding of volcanic systems. We invite contributions related to (1) methodological and instrumental advances in imaging techniques tuned specifically for volcanoes and volcano imaging, and (2) new knowledge on the internal structure and physical processes of volcanic systems obtained by means of direct imaging at all volcanic scales. This year, we particularly welcome studies where complementary imaging techniques, as well as multi-disciplinary datasets, are integrated to investigate subsurface hydrothermal and magmatic processes.
