Dear Colleagues,
We would like to remind you that registration is now open for the 2018 UK Volcanic and Magmatic Studies Group annual meeting
The conference will be held in Leeds, UK, from 3-5 January 2018.
The deadline for discounted early-bird registration is 31st October.
Final abstract submission and registration will close on 30th November.
The scientific committee for the meeting is chaired by Prof. Jurgen Neuberg and the programme will be split into 4 themes:
1.Volcanic Arcs
2. Rifts, Islands and Intraplate Volcanism
3. Beyond the Vent
4. Explosive Ideas
Limited places are also available on several workshops:
1. PhD writing and scientific publishing
2. Diffusion modelling in crystal systems (led by Dr. Dan Morgan)
3. Volcano Seismology (led by Prof. Jurgen Neuberg)
4.InSAR 101 (led by Dr. Susi Ebmeier).
We hope to see many of you in Leeds in January.
