In the framework of the Ph.D. in Earth, Life and Environment Sciences of the University of Bologna (a.a. 2017/2018) there is an opening competition for a candidate to work on the topic "Eruptive and depositional processes of widely dispersed volcanic ash". The candidate will work on stratigraphy, sedimentology and geochemistry of large-scale ash deposits to reconstruct the sources and their eruptive and depositional mechanisms. 


The expected starting date is November 2017, the duration is 3 years.

The deadline for submitting applications online at the site Studenti Online is 29/05/2017, 13:00.
